How To Install Jelly Bean 4.1.1 On Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000
Recently, Samsung has started pushing jelly bean 4.1.1 update for Galaxy note 10.1 which was pending since long time. The wait is finally over but only for German users. However, you can install the German version on your device following the guide below. By following the instructions below, it is assumed you are doing this at your own risk and we are not responsible if any this happens to your device and if becomes a mere slate.

Step 1 : Downloading Files and Installing Drivers
- Download Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Stock Firmware Along With Odin 1.85Download Link : Jelly Bean 4.1
- Download Link : Odin 1.85
- Extract the zip file by right clicking and selecting "Extract All," or by using an extracting program of your choice.
Step 2 : Connecting the Device
- Turn off USB Debugging by going to Settings>Developer options>Unchecking USB debugging.
- Power off the device by holding the power button and selecting Power off
- Put the device into Downloading mode
- Hold the Vol Down button and Power button.
- Keep holding until you see two icons. First you'll see the Samsung Galaxy Note logo and then the icons will show up. Let go.
- Press the Vol Up button to select Downloading mode.
- Connect the device to your computer with the USB cable and Odin status should turn yellow.
Step 3 : Flashing 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Firmware
- Go into the same root folder as before.
- Double click the root application named "Odin3_v1.85.exe"
- If your downloaded firmware/stock contains only 1 file, follow the below instructions.
- Click On PDA
- Browse and locate the following file that we downloaded in Step 1 - "N8000XXBLJ9_N8000OXABLJ9_DBT.tar.md5" (File name may differ)
- Configure the options exactly as mentioned:
- Re-Partition - Unchecked
- Flash Lock - Unchecked
- Auto Reboot - Checked
- F. Reset Time - Checked
- Click Start
- Once it is complete, you can close the program

Step 4 : Completing Installation / Wiping Cache
- Your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will boot up with Jelly Bean. At this moment, your devise should be running very slow, this is normal and supposed to happen as we have not yet wiped the cache for the previous firmware from your device.
- Once you are on the home screen, switch off your device.
- Put the device into Recovery mode
- Hold the Vol Up button along with Power button.
- Keep holding until you see two icons. First you'll see the Samsung Galaxy Note logo and then the icons will show up. Let go.
- Using the volume down button, select the option "Wipe Cache Partition"
- Once done, select the option "Reboot System Now"

will it be possible to upgrade to premium suite for note 10.1 once it is available?

dont know my galaxy 10.1 is really buggy after the JB update, kies air crashes all the time and whole OS is slow i need to tab sometimes 3-4 times till it reacts at all, its the most buggy long awaited update i seen, i love the premium suite thou
it's stuck after rebooting just showing samsung logo flashing all the time..
Will this work with any galaxy note 10.1 N8000? And from any country? I am in South Africa. When i clicked on check for software update, it said i have none but now i see it can be done manually. Will this affect my connectivity to my phone operator?

Upgrade worked, but I keep getting a "Software Update" notification and when I try to register it says "Processing Failed".
