From the above tech specifications we can see that Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note are quite similar and its a tough call to make in deciding which amongst the two  is better. However, if we look at the highlighted specifications, its pretty clear that Samsung's Galaxy Note is having a dual core processor while Galaxy S3 is powered with a Quad-core processor. The second point where Galaxy Note lost the race is that Galaxy S3 can record HD videos with the secondary camera which is not possible in the case of Galaxy Note. Lastly, Galaxy Note is does not have NFC which is the key point in Voting for Galaxy S3. There are other software features in Galaxy S3 like Direct call, Smart View, Smart Sharing, Smart Notifications.

The problem I have is with the quad core; and just how viable it really is currently on mobile devices. Applications just started to really tap into dual cores, quad will remain relatively untouched for quite some time. And what kind of processing are you doing that needs that many threads in the first place? And don't you think that the 1gb of ram would be a bottleneck ultimately on a quad core device? I think 1.4x2 is pushing it already, but that's just me. Not knocking the device or anything, just trying to point out some things that could be just marketing tools. I think both are really great.

I just heard the samsung galaxy sIII will not be released in quad-core. The reason behind is the compatibility with the 4G Lte. Please correct me if I am wrong. I wish if Verizon would release the samsung galaxy note. Love that phone
